Incredibly friendly staff both at the reception and at the pub, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome throughout our stay! The cabins (The wooden ones) aren’t that well insulated so lots of heat escapes, but the fireplace absolutely makes up for it! You are provided everything you need to cook as well, frying pan and spatula etc. Awesome stay! We will be back
We went for New Year's Eve. It was a fabulous deal. The food was superb, the service excellent!
As a local here on the Sunshine Coast, the Backeddy is a destination! The food is amazing! The staff are so courteous.. There's live music and the view is one of the best from both the dining room and patio!
The Backeddy Resort is the perfect location to enjoy BC's beautiful ocean, along with the breathtaking coastal mountains for a stunning backdrop. The Pub/Restaurant provides the BEST Fish & Chips on the coast, along with many other amazing dishes. Top this off with lots of different options to sleep in, from some cool Domes, fun retro A Frame cabins, their lodge and some beautiful single cabins along the waterfront. Top this all off with their incredible staff, and you've given yourself a fabulous getaway that you'll want to come back to again and again!
We've been coming up here annually for about 8 years now. Love the addition of the waterfront cabins, the old A frames are cozy (they can show their age, but they're clean and private). Bonus they're super dog friendly! Telus and BC Hydro both had outages in the area last night, not much the staff can do about that. But they did come by to communicate and apologised for the inconvenience. It's always a peaceful spot and we'll be back again
We did not stay in the hotel, but we ate at the pub two nights in a row. Tacos, fish and chips, burgers, chowder were all great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Got to see a seal catch a fish from the patio. Parking on Saturday night was impossible.
My partner and I had an incredible stay in one of the charming small vintage cabins at Backeddy Resort! The cabin was perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable getaway and we loved using the fireplace. The views were gorgeous to wake up to, and we were lucky enough to spot seals swimming in the water and eagles flying above us. The pub became our favourite evening hangout spot - the atmosphere was so welcoming and the live music made for such memorable nights. Foods and drinks were delicious :)) We also booked the night time bioluminescence kayak tour through Metta Eco Experiences on the premise which was absolutely magical and definitely worth every penny! This place offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and natural beauty. The drive up the Sunshine Coast was scenic, and Backeddy Resort made for an unforgettable escape from the city.
We recently had the opportunity to stay in cabin 1at the Backeddy Resort. The view of the water, trees & marina was spectacular. The cabin had everything we could ask for, it was well equipped with all the essentials. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable .We were so pleased that the Resort is pet friendly as well. If you're thinking of a staycation or just doing some glamping I'd highly recommend the Backeddy Resort.
